baaudio
building new box for my girlfriends system. she has a pair of 10" jl w0 running on a zx400.1 at 2 ohm. anyways right now she has a prefab sealed box for them. im planning on doing ported for the new one. ive always done slot ports and im curious to try an aero port. anyways box measures out to 12" tall, 36" wide, 13.5" deep. either doing dual 2" slots on each end or two 3" aero ports in middle between the subs. what do you guys think? still need to calculate lengths for the ports. help me out guys! Torres
slot ports are cheap and can be made easily enough out of the wood you build your box with. aero ports are more efficient which in turn are able to utilize less surface area. and also take up less volume. i've seen several people here say that since they've used aero ports that they'll never go back to slot ports
