Alternator Amps

Where would I find out how many amps a stock alternator in a 2007 Chevy Tahoe puts out?

dosent stock alternators only put out 60 amps

Stock alternators range in output, sometimes there is a tag on the side or the back of the case of the alt that tells you the part # and also its output.

I really don't want to deal with installing another battery, but oh well.

Well how much power are you going to be running? you might be able to get away with doing the big 3 to help out with that alt and doing as big as battery as you can up front, like a hc2400 or hc2000. I would think that would support 2500-3000 watts ok.

Maybe 2500 at the most. It will probably be around 1500-2000 for the subs and 300 max for mids and highs.
