I used a cable that is for IPOD and Iphone and goes to USB, RCA audio, and Composite video.

The IPAD does not recognize this accessory, But it still plays audio out of the RCAs. The USB I still have to work on to charge from the car. It charges from USB from the AC adapter so I may just either look at the pins they have configured, or use a small AC Inverter to adapt the DC to AC for that adapter, then the IPAD will charge in the car.

Its just a pinning difference. Ipad and ipod use different pins for ground for charging.

looks a little tight since the dock connector is on the side of the ipad. maybe add one of these and put the "adapter" somewhere behind the dash.

Nah it won't be that loud...not really that type of setup. Mid 150s maybe. Its not for numbers , just for fun. We will do a numbers build next.

you should be doing mid 50's. with that much power and cone area.
