If you guys are having trouble with a virus, I noticed Ed said he had one as well as another guy. PM me I could give a couple solutions to possibly avoid formatting your computer. I don't know how tech savvy you guys are but if you know how to search the registry correctly, I'd rid the virus if its in the form of a program, delete all temporary files, delete its application data, and delete it from all entries in the registry. Feel free to PM/email me and I can list some specific directions and do my part to help out.

Thanks, I would have tried that but I had no option but to use a restore disk, was stuck in a reboot loop even in safe mode.

Computer works now, just lost some valuable software.

Hey Ed check out this iPhone/iPad app. it turns it into a monitor for your PC. one you had it set up you could maybe install a carputer but use the ipad as the monitor? just an idea

Ah I see. Well best of luck on getting all your software re-installed. If you rightfully own the software, but can't "find" the disc, then "borrowing" it back from a source on the internet isn't quite as bad? Haha.

I got this Virus called ''Security Tool'', did you have that to?

This may be the virus I got at the beginning of the month. I SWORE I got it from SMD, because while on SMD one morning, I kept getting all these security hits, like a anti virus program that kept popping up about every 3 - 5 seconds

Only thing that got it off my computer was deleting ALL browsing history, and ALL temp files, then running my old trusted,

Mal-ware program to just clean it up a little bit

Update:

I will get my pics and video software and files in order in a couple days when I take a break.

As of right now, almost everything is done except the box.

I am prepping pieces now for the box and finishing the plexiglass so I can try and paint the box tonight and hopefully install it tomorrow.
