From just seeing the difference in Meade's videos and how happy he was about switching, I think you should definitely get the CPs. (they look the same too, so the wifey won't know you bought new equipment, lol) finally..a wise man speaks...lol..that last part is crucial! trippi: i would be less concerned about getting more power over all and get the power where it counts.....with the CP's your amps will barely if at all, be affected by box rise. Im not even a salesman, not trying to be, but if i had any advice it would be to give the CP's a shot. They released those amps about 4 months after i got mine and thats why it took me that long to switch out.....my shit was still new and i didnt want to mess with it. Now the amps that you and i have (i had) are discontinued....for a reason. BDCP>BD all day Yeah you're probably right. Thanks man u should put some 30s on the trailer that you tow this thing with just teasin you because i read it earlier, but what you need to do at shows is roll the red carpet out and park it on it, if you are going to invest this much into a vehicle it better damn well be on a red carpet with a big ass crown on it lol lol... nah it's def not the king..maybe like a jr prince I was supposed to meet up with someone on here last night to give a demo but he couldn't make it. But it still worked out because I was finally able to air this thing out. I know the numbers aren't where some thought they would be but man this thing is nuts...from 20-20,000 it just sounds great. Of course the bass throws everybody for a loop but the highs are just as crazy..and crystal clear. It seems weird that all of that sound can come from a car. lol. I heard that too man. Actually Meade called me after he dropped the cp's in his truck... I'm going to be pulling all of the amps after SBN to do some more tuning, and to probably put loc-tite on the power screws, it's bothering me that those fell out when I KNOW they were really cranked down good... so that would be the time to do it trippi if you are considering it. Just make sure that they will take up to 16v I am thinking of switching, but to something more powerful. But you just made that rack look so nice it's hard to mess it up. I want to do either 6 warhorses or 6 DCs. But the only problem then is neither of them have any really strong mid and high amps and I dont want to mix brands back there. Ric Thornton Posted March 16, 2011 Report Posted March 16, 2011 im not a rockford guy. lol I'm thinkin of trip on this one... if the CP's are going to give him more power and make it louder (he always wants it louder) WITHOUT having to rebuild (he don't want to pay for that)... then that would be the thing to do.. he was considering going to DC amps or something else... that would mean a rebuild of the amp rack. if he didn't mind a rebuild... i would talk him into some powerbass 5k's. two on each sub. hahahaha I KNOW the PBX 5k's would crush two of the rf 2500's.
