Real neat subs. How ever they are still making the straight Z series motors. I think I remember trippi saying something about adding 2 more 18's somewhere in this topic. 8 Z series 18's and 16 s2b's! I not realy knowing what with SD isgoing on, and the forumrules are so rigide, that i dont want to fill, my thougts about in a official post in words. Other question is the sound of SD Amps, i think them high strung breeded powerhorses. Good for the subs, but away from the quality for mids and highs, what you accustomed from your RF-amps. Yeah that's the only thing with them..the wait if I can't find them locally. And I'm not sure if I have an ear for sound quality or not because I heard the SDs in a beyma truck at SBN and it was the loudest and clearest truck there. But then the rfs sound good to me too..lol. Thanks man Thanks for this post Trippi, as nowadays it's been difficult to find unbiased opinions. You see, we have a couple amps in that truck, and it was the loudest and the clearest system in your opinion, and I agree. Most of it comes from the Beyma drivers (as we all know the speakers introduce the vast majority of all distortion on a correctly tuned system, and their distortion levels are very low, specially when you consider how efficient they are), but the amps are there, driving them as they should.
