Help: Tahoe rear AC control removal???

So yea, I need to remove the rear air control with the lights to install a TV monitor there, any one have any idea how to remove it or what I can do? the dimensions for the flip down are 16" x 13" x 2.7"

any additional info needed? let me know.

EDIT: The truck is a 2001 by the way. And the light and ac controls are on the same area together

My rear a/c control came out simply by the bass, along with the vents.

Im kind of trying to understand where exactly the monitor is going?

in front of the a/c controls by the dome light, or behind the controls?

The tahoes with rear a/c have a doubled up headliner, the 2 halfs make the vents for the rear a/c. So placement of the monitor maybe a pita.

Most likely you will want to drop the headliner to brace the monitor.

but if you take a plastic pry tool, the a/c control should just pop out. You can also remove the dome light and have slight access to it that way.

maybe some of the pics will help you from when I dropped mine for deadening.

Aww man thanks a lot, But my bad I forgot to state that it's a 2001, I saw the the pics and said to my self that looks familiar but then again it's not the same.

if it is the one i am thinking of, you can get a knife or thin flat blade screwdriver and pry the air switch out of the larger housing. The switch should unplug from harness. There should also be two torx screws holding the plastic housing up, maybe two clips also.
