LiL PiNoY Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 I am planning on buying 2 t1500-bdcp and right now i have 2 pdx 1.100 and 1 pdx 4.100. i have 1 run of 0 gauge, should i upgrade to 2 runs or 00 gauge or will it be fine. shop says it will be ok...i dont think so
DStortz Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 From the way that I understand Digital Amps is that you are not going to really gain anything with multi run's of wire. I run the JL digital amps in my truck with a single run of 0 gauge and 2 optima yellow top's and dont have any voltage problems. finkster Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 its right about at the limit...on tones and bassrace ur gonna be pulling a shit ton of current. But on music its pretty dynamic so it wouldnt pull close to 400 amps ever. at full output 2 1500s be around 400 amps, on top of a mids and highs amp so add on another 40 amps to be safe.. so its definitely a good idea to upgrade.
