wondering if theres a way to richen up my air/fuel mixture on my truck .. 355ci SBC . somewhere i read to unplug the o2 sensor and that would put it into " open loop" whatever that means and richen it up . would this work ? or is there any other way ? note: im trying to do this without spending any $$ thanks guys !

good luck.. best way is to switch over to a carb. or have some one re-tune it but that costs $$

unplugging the 02 will make it run goofy and your engine light will be on.. and you will have shitty gas millage ( experience on a 350 sbc )

Ok thanks for the tips , i forgot to mention I'm not wanting to richen it up just for the hell of it , it has some minor work , ie: mild cam , msd , headers, full 3 1/2 " exaust . So it was running VERY lean . To the point it's discoloring my plugs .

I f you got those mods, you MUST get it re-tuned. You will be so much happier.
