alright friend called me trying to install a kenwood headunit in his blazer. i guess he did something wrong and now the car won't start. i went and looked at it and its making a god awful noise by the glove compartment. nothing else electrical works like locks, windows and all that. what should i look for first? battery is sitting at 11.1

make sure the battery is connected tight. if its loose it wont start. did he mount anything in the glove box? theres nothing in there that would effect the cars starting unless he shorted something out

oo, missed that. yea the car needs 12 volts to start. try jumping him. if the car starts you need a battery

11 and even 12volts are way too low to start a car. Why didn't you guys try and jump start it?? I can almost be money that's the problem, either that or he some how got into the antitheft wiring and screwed something up. Just try jumpstarting it, disconnect your amps to be one the safe side though...
