00_XJ
He probably disconnected the battery cable to install it and didn't put it back on tight enough OR the batteries drained. But I would almost guarantee it was one of those two problems. blackrosetiger
could he possably have fried the starter or alt as well? that could be the cause of the battery being dead. L8-NiTe
Is it one of those radio installs where the car has to have the old headunit still hooked up or the car dont work?I know i have seen a few like that where you had to buy a big ass long wire harness to run from the front to the trunk and hook the old head unit up in the trunk or the car would not start due to the anti theft or some other bs like that. moh.vze.com
You need to jump start it. My car wouldn't start up back in the day when my stock battery was at 11.5V or so. Guest
11 and even 12volts are way too low to start a car. Why didn't you guys try and jump start it?? I can almost be money that's the problem, either that or he some how got into the antitheft wiring and screwed something up. Just try jumpstarting it, disconnect your amps to be one the safe side though... then how come car batteries rest at 12.6v and can start the car perfectly fine. ktm300
then how come car batteries rest at 12.6v and can start the car perfectly fine. Probably because 12 isn't 12.6....there is a difference. Take ur Batt down to 12v and try an start ur car....
dyeagain15
Just a shot in the dark besides the obvious, like in my truck theres a battery fuse block or some shit up on the firewall in the engine compartment which is behind my glove box, not saying thats it, but could be a place to look if everything else fails.
