TheSundownFire Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 My friend has a single cab S10 and he wants me to design and build a box for his to fit something like a BL12 or a T1 or something of that style. Ive designed several boxes Im just not able to decide how to do his. Im not very familiar with trucks. What should I do for sub and port placement? I cant think of anything that wont get muffled or run the risk of being hit with the seat. UniqueSounds Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 I had sub forward and port side once and it was alright then i did sub forward and port forward and it was way louder. sooo from my experience i would say do sub forward and port forward. Freshman6969 Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 hmmmm i might have a vid of some kid with a single cab, its not a dime, and not to sure if its a single cab or not but hes got dual 12's i beleave lemme see if i can find it for you Edit: Heres the vid and hes got 1 15, my bad Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k! dyeagain15 Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 Ive got a regular cab f150 and im running the box between two captains chairs, of course i only need a cube ft of airspace with my subs. Im incorporating that with a center console that runs to the dash. Maybe just an idea for ya, idk what all he has for an interior.
