I'm not trying to sound like a smart ass, but you should call HP and see where/if you could get one. I know that those cost big bucks. Odd is if one gets broke, the users sends it back for repair and not to be recycled. Quote 2012 Honda Accord Radio: Pioneer AVH-4200NEX
Boon
Why do you want a broken one lol? Also why gigabit? Will you really use the bandwidth? Quote 10.x volts fo' life!
n8ball2013
the cost of a gig switch compared to a 100 base is asshole puckering. I'm curious what you are using it for. or why? A managed gig switch is very pricey. What's wrong with a little 5 port linksys gig switch? I have one of those I use for my wired connections back to my server. psx2p
The HP's have a lifetime warranty and some people dont want the hassle of the price for shipping or what not, get them broke have them fixed and wall good switch, the reason i want this is for my internal network and server. will i see the bandwidth? no i wont see a transfer of the full possibility due to HD write times on my machines but yes i can achieve higher speeds than a 100Mbit can transfer. running direct to my tablet i transferred 340Mbit /s so roughly around 40.4Mbytes /s, a considerable difference when im streaming server to client based programs or backing up HDs.
