Luken
I'm having some trouble with RCA's staying in my amp. My Old RCA's i the end of one off and they were working for a while but i decided to change them out because every time i would take a corner the old RCA's would make the subs pound for no reason. So anyway i got new rca's hooked them up to my deck but they won't stay in the holes. There are 4 holes there and the ones that they DO fit in don't make any sound. But the ones that don't fit make the sound but they just slide right out. The only way i would be able to use them like that is if i stayed back there and held them in with my hand the entire time, which is impossible. So can you guys let me know what the issue might be? The RCA's are just typical rca cable nothing fancy and i can't remember how well the old rca's stayed in there because i had it installed by an audio shop. I don't know what to do

hdorre
New RCAs from a different company. The rcas that don't work are probably for ur subs. Check your deck for settings on the sub. I know that some alpines have an option to turn on and off the subs. Some alpines also have a control that controls sub level Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread

I'm clueless guys and i dont want to have to resort to tape Lol

I'm clueless guys and i dont want to have to resort to tape Lol I'd try RCAs from a different company cuz the ones you have could be cheaped and ripped inside the rubber (rare, but possible). Fosgate must have good rcas considering all of steves cable is from Rockford Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread

hdorre
That diagram didnt make any sense to me. So are you saying that you have two pairs of RCAs. One set is too big and the other set won't carry the signal? Skullz
Use the inputs on the amp, if they aren't staying in you can bend the tabs on the outer part of the rca to pinch them and have them grip better. Luken
Skullz they won't go All the way in. Causing them to fall out. So i can't pinch them if they won't go all the way up
