I was thinking optima lmk How much power are you running? Just be happy the 3100 is only $350, I gotta pay $425 to get it to hawaii. You could go with Optima, Kinetik, Shuriken, etc but which battery you should get is going to be determined by how much power you're running.

fr34kout Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 well right now im running a kicker 1500.1 Well then if you wanted to just go with the power you're running now and not worry about upgrading later you could go with a Kinetik HC1800 or HC 2400, an Optima Redtop or 2 would probably be suffice, you could do an smaller XS Power battery perhaps a D5100? Shuriken BT-60 or BT-8 0 would also work.

fr34kout Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 Something I forgot to ask, what kind of battery are you running up front? I personally wouldn't mix wet cell batteries with an AGM type of battery. Depending on what kind of battery you're running up front, maybe just upgrading your front battery instead of adding a second one would be beneficial. An XS Power D3400 would be more than sufficient, and it should be well under $300.
