dkish Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 Whatado SMD. I've been running my 18" Fi BTL off a 2200D by AudioQue in a transmission line for about a year now and want to upgrade. (as shown here) I'm looking at AudioQue's new 3500.1D, but i've heard from some people that a tranny line hinders the subs ability to handle as much power as it could otherwise? If true, then i will be upping my cone surface and get another BTL. I have already sold my 2200D so i am without any amps regarding my BTL. As for electrical, I have a 300a Iraggi alt and a yellow top under the hood and in the back. (Probably will be switching to Kinetic) I have a 2002 Envoy XL and third row removed. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions please share them with me. Should I have 2 18's walled? Inverted? Or what? Also, I'm always willing to venture into new amp brands. If you want to recommend something have some logic behind it. If you want to recommend something have some logic behind it. i never said that there was anything wrong with his amp selection he just said he would consider switching so i just threw out another brand thats all

Remember he may not be familiar with RF.
