My Buick Rainier has HID lights in the fogs. But the headlights are normal halogen lights.

Why would you do that? Or you mean it's like that stock? Are you sure that the fogs just aren't halogens in projector lenses? Also, I don't see how this has anything to do with my question, but whatever rofl :P:pardon::drinks:

They certainly look like HIDs. They have that rainbow cutoff when they're shining on a building, but I guess that could be a product of the projector and not the bulb. They came stock like that. I guess you're probably right about them being halogens with a projector.

As far as why it pertains to the question; I thought you were asking about HID lights coming stock on cars in places other than the headlights.

whatever man.. we cool. Still don't think they are LEDs, unless I am looking at the wrong kind of LEDs.. they aren't ALL that bright...or blue. Maybe if they are like 5000 LEDs in there, but I doubt it.

I hate it when people complain about hids not being in projectors. Yes, it's annoying... but not THAT annoying.. there are always people who like to aim their headlights all wrong and one is facing toward the sky and the other is off facing toward the bottom of the car next to them.. which is 100x more annoying that non-projector hids.

its the glare. And only thing i think of when i see that is someone shops on ebay. I anyone who buys over 4500k is not doing it to see better they are doing it for looks. Why would you want everything lit up blue? not fooling anybody when you see a big blue glare coming down the road and the lights are not changing color at all.

you can cook bacon shirtless if you're not a pussy...lol

not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be.

When the light changes to the blue color, you lose quit a bit of performance. My Xenon (Recon Diamond White) fogs light up quit a bit more of the road than my buddies HID headlights that are 6000k on 33w Ballast IIRC.

my 4300k in a projector will have close to or the same color as yours unless you are under the cutoff line. then its white, so i can see.
