i need a blowthrough box design asap so i can get started on a customers request.

i have 58 wide 17.75 height and 18.75 depth.

ported most likely say tuned around 34

its for 2 L7 15s powered by a kicker 1500.1 ill paypal u $10

cutthrough box is no different from a normal box. you just make a big hole in your cab and seal it off. unless you are tring some kooky bandpass design and what not.

Big problem i see would be getting to 34 hz tuning with a good SQ of port, no way you can get a little bit bigger?? maybe a couple of inches more on depth.

For a kicker L7 i would get 4 cubic feet per sub so you can get the lows damn hard!! With the amount of space you got there, only way to get 4 cubic feet per sub it´s with a very small port, said that, i would then use 3.5 c/f per sub with a very nice port and tune to your 34 hz.

This box would give you 7.2 cubic feet after displacement, 16SQ of port per cubic feet and 35 hz tuning.

3/4" wood and get a nice double baffle on the front if you can

17.75 x 58 x 18.75 (same measures you gave)

Port:

16.25" x 7" x 25" depth

Resin, nice bracing and some 45´s if you can

Still, small box so maybe you need a little bit of power. I can´t say that this is the best box ever because i don´t even work as a car audio installer, professional box designer or anything, but thank god every box i have designed in the past has worked

By the way, i can shrink the port size a little bit to gain some internal space and still don´t lose output, maybe getting 7.6 c/f and about 14SQ of port per cubic feet.
