dmanson Posted June 28, 2007 Report Share Posted June 28, 2007 try a kinetik HC 2000 underhood. seeing he has a Navi it should fit perfectly and it has twice as many cranking amps as one optima battery has. as the fellows suggested, a hc600 would do in the back. Chode69 Posted June 28, 2007 Report Share Posted June 28, 2007 i don't think a 2nd battery is needed... but it will help...the 300 should have a pretty good alt in it.. you really dont know the current draw on that amp then. it shut off my truck several times. with just the yellowtop i still had my truck shut off (before i had the kinetik) and that lil kinetik 600 has some power to keep that amp going and the truck still running. even on idol at full tilt.
