SlowLoudNBangin
on a scale of 1-10, how hard is it for a first-timer to install an alarm without any previous experience with alarm installation, not even seeing somebody do it? 9515g xa-3000s

I did it without any previous experience, I'd say a five, not extremely hard but not extremely simple either. I happy to help ya if you have questions on installing it. Saltine
i wouldnt buy a refurbished alarm for that price a few dollars more you could have bought one brand new, i hooked my viper 5900 up with tilt sensor, window module and backup batter and the remote start. having no prior alarm experiance it went well. use 12volt.com for any alarm questions just dont get aggravated if it takes a while for them to respond or they tell you things like they told me they said for the remote start wire on the coil. its either going to be purple, white, or black/white. thats 3 out of the 4 wires why tell me that if you dont know. then for the domelight supervision, they said its the white wire in the kickpanel, yea which one theres only about 20, turns out mine was actually a gray wire
