do any of yall kno of anyone who makes custom fiberglass sub boxes that wont completely drain my wallet. i need one for a 2002 pontiac firehawk. 1 maybe 2 12's

If you were closer, I could do it. But try a local shop that specializes in custom work.

make one yourself. you aren't gonna find someone to make it for you for cheap as the biggest cost is the labor involved.

there are plenty of tutorials on how to do it yourself, just be patient and keep it flat (stop and sand if it gets out of hand before you got your desired number of layers for an application done, i do 2 to 3 at a time)

if you want to save money.... why dont you build it yourself?

you wont have to pay someone materials and labor to do it for you... and youll learn alot if you build it yourself...

if you absolutely don't want to make it yourself, i would recommend going to a local shop or find someone local here on SMD, because shipping a fiberglass box would be expensive.

yeah ide do it myself i love doing stuff like that but its a reallly tigth fit and a little to precise for my first fiberglass build. and i dont have quite that much time on my hands. itde take me a month.

A month ain't long for a fiberglass box. Considering a job, wife, kids, soccer on weekends. I started making em about a year and a half ago. I've done eight or nine. Its addicting. Once u get finished with one, you get an idea of what else you could have done. Then u start over and sell the original.

that car owuld just be such a hastle.. haha i might try it for the hell of it. if i do itll be in the builds section
