What happens to runners on a bike? yeah there are very few cases where the bike gets away... mostly people crash out. I got a gsxr 600 for now and new phone, insurance, all that junk. so I have no audio at the moment. So I was pulling out of the gas station onto the main road and im pretty good about checking behind me for cops of anykind. It was about 8:20pm at started to get pretty dark outside so it gets hard to tell if there were any behind me. So im on the main road and i pop it up threw 1,2,3rd gear and let it down. I get to the next light and it turns red. Im sitting there chilling when i hear out of nowhere, "you might want to get your throttle checked if its going to keep sticking on you like that" coming from the cops loud speaker . So im sitting there just stiff as a bord it seems like because I have no tag on my bike and was doing well over the speed limit. he then pulls up beside me and I lift my visor up on my helmet. He says "try and take it easy tonight if you can" i respond with a "yes sir" and he just pulls away. IDK why i didnt get a ticker, maybe he thought i was considered a "runner" since i had no tag and had most of my race gear on at the time. anyway, short story of my day and being out of the house kicks total ass, moved in with my fiance. epic Lucky isn't even the word.. you use up all your free passes! If that cop wanted to be a hard ass, your bike would be gone, licensee gone(reckless driving), most likely could have gotten arrested, which means you have to bail out.. then on top of that the fine for reckless driving is crazy high... chrispy Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 yeah dude i got pulled over for no headlights on (street was well lit even though it was evening so i couldnt tell that my lights were off) but i got pulled over.. and im 15 i had nobody else in the car at 11:30. and i had no insurance because my parents are switching. he didnt even ask for my insurance, i just handed him my restricted license and he asked my address and gave me a warning.. yeah i kinda feel like i got lucky with that too cus the cop was really cool. if it was another cop i wouldve gotten a ticket and maybe have gotten my restricted suspended or have to wait longer to get my real drivers license. oh yeah, and dont run from cops like everybody else is saying.. you might think you can get away, but might end up getting caught, killed, or hurt in some way. hell, you might make it but i wouldnt chance it.. my system 2 12" diamond d3 subs Kenwood 500 watt class d mono amp On 4/14/2010 at 5:40 PM, Boon said: Waaaaaa my system has a minor issue that I can't figure out so I'm gonna quit audio.
