Cant wait to get it installed. one down side is that the trim ring has a couple tabs snapped on it but I will work with it. Hotdog Posted April 21, 2010 Author Report Posted April 21, 2010 Ok.. Just got this baby installed.. oh my dear lord what a night and day difference it was over my Alpine unit. This Rockford Fosgate RFX9400 has phenomenal sound quality. No Clipping with volume at full tilt. The summed output for the sub woofers blends the bass really well. The mids and highs are coming out much louder now and clear as a bell. I picked up the 8 disc changer brand new in a box also that goes with this head unit. It has two aux inputs for me to plug my Ipod into but I will have to get a charger now. That is one thing I liked about the Alpine "Ipod Control" and charging. But I gladly give that up for the sound difference. It my understanding that this unit brand new was over $700.00 but I cant verify that right now. Picks up radio stations a lot better too. I need to throw a MP3 cd in the change and see if the deck will read MP3 from the changer. I am hoping that it will since the head unit will read mp3 that it will read mp3 from the changer.
