JDoidge Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 Hey, first off i wanna say im new to this site, Second i have a question about my system i guess you can say, I have a 1989 BMW 525I 4 door with Two 12'' Alpine type R's witch are located in my truck right now. My truck rattles so much its kinda embarrassing, but then i had an idea about putting my box/subs in the back seat of my car. I have plans on what im going to do with it and how its going to work so thats not the problem... So pretty much what im trying to say is if this is a good or bad idea. Please tell me what you think, Thanks alott James D.

When you say it would sound completely different do you think that will be in a good or bad way? And thanks for the advice i really appreciate it.
HHR Ed Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 its easier to get good sound from the trunk due to how it tunes with the length of the wave and loading from the trunk wall. If you wanna stop rattles, look into deadening the car with Second Skin sound deadener.
