The Hifonics amps will do rated, you just have to have good electrical for em, IIRC for each volt you drop the Hifonics amp loses 18% output, so all these kids that drop to 11 volts yeah its not gonna do rated for you that almost 60% loss of output from that voltage drop. So as long as you have decent electrical the Hifonics will do rated all day.

i can also sell that amp and get a 2600 watt hifonics. dont think that would do 1500rms ?

If you go with the level 5, this would be your best bet. Then again it has been proven that the level 4xl gets louder off of anything under about 3000 I believe. Off of stock electrical and a kinetik 1800, you will not be able to maintain a 14.4v. If you want to stay budget, my vote goes to the 15" level 4xl in a "GOOD" enclosure off of either the BXi1610d, the AP1500, or even the BXi2010d if you know what you are doing.

what amp alt would he need to stay at 14.4v

I clicked the link and looked at the specs, and your "5000" watt amp does 1300 watts at RMS at 1 ohm. So it definitely calls for an upgrade. You can do bass on a budget but you wont get the same output as a more expensive and powerful system. Don't be expecting to do 150's with a $200 system.

more like a ground shaker, no where near 150s, if i wanted some dbs i would do a nice box for the 4 cvrs and aim for a 143.2 or something..

Is it that much harder to get loud in a car? Im about to find out when i finish my build, but 143 off 4 15s? I guess it is sealed...i was at 141 with a pair of 12s ported off >1k. But it was in a blazer....

hell yea, i would probably be louder with 2 of the same 15s in a big ported! right now i all 4 in 2 dual small sealed prefabs.

always easier in a suv/jeep!!!! sound wayy better to!!

but i seen ppl do 150s on a trunks its impressive no doubt.
