__d_a_v_i_d__
i know 4 would get louder, but heres my dilemma. i currently got 4 15s kickers cvrs in my trunk. i have a trunk. so the only way i can fit them atm, is by two dual sealed small boxes. it does get loud, i was thinking what if i sell them, and get one 15 xl or lvl5 in a nice ported box. that would also mean i can finally put other stuff in the trunk like bags and shitt idk. lol.. got an unknown 1900rms, 5000 watt max amp. you think i would lose alot of loudness by switching from four cvrs to one DC? under the same 5k watt amp. i just lost alot of cone area, but still the same thing? would it not be as loud cuss of cone area? Please tell me your thoughts on this. Quote Chevy Impala Shocker Sigs / TC Sounds 12s Sundown NS-1 | SAX 100.4 Sundown Neos | Dayton Audio Neos ETCCC ETCCC ETCCC My YouTube ---- Subcribe!! R_Mac_1
I would say 1 15" in a properly sized ported box > 4 15s crammed in a tiny sealed box. But I'm no expert. R_Mac_1
I don't think your "1900 watt" amp will be enough for a level 5. hdorre
I would do the upgrade to an xl. Like what everyone else said, "the one 15 won't be starving for air." also, you could probably fit a ported box Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread
