If your not sure about the 18's go with the FI 15's.. In my opion its better to go down a size in subs and have enough airspace then go big and it not be right...

this, you need the proper air space

You really should look into Audioque subs. If your planning on using the t2500s for power, get the aluminum coils, but they get plenty loud of a t1500 in which case get the copper coils. I can hit over a 145 from 40-50 hz with 1 15 hdc3 and a t10001bd

O and I forgot to tell you that once you get the btl's to go into his shop, blow his head off and then ask if he still likes his rockford 15's

yeah i will do that for sure.hhaha

FI FTW!! Im not a big fan of RF subs at all... There are other brands you could use as well other than FI...

what others are there ?

ya if you want to save some money on the subs check out the audioque hdc3. they are alot cheaper and come in between the bl and the btl. If you can afford the btl go for it though

i can afford the btl but the amps on the other hand will be breaking my piggy bank since the t2500.1bds or 1499.99 a piece but dont get me wrong rockford amps are amazing but wouldnt know what a cheaper alternative would be?

ok so here is an amazing amp for an amazing price. check out the crescendo audio 3kpw. It uses the exact same board as the older sundown 3000, and its only 550 bucks. also I think sundown is doing pre order sales on their 2500 for like 525 bucks. that is an insane amp for the price! I would go with either one of those. also you were asking about subs. check out the audioque hdc3 subs and they also make a amp that fits perfectly for their sub that is under rated at 2200. I have one hdc3 15 with one of their 2200's and its insane. they also offer an aluminum coil option and some people have pushed crazy amounts of power through them.

But like others are saying there are dozens of deals on subs on the forum here you could get for cheaper and be as loud if not louder than the FI's (not putting the FI down for sure)... Like Audio Q, DD, Sundown, Mmats, and DC.. And on your amps the RF amps are great but your also buying the name.. You could get a Sundown, Mmats, hell even a DB Drive amp and get the same power for less of a price...

The 2 18s would be better. Get louder and lower then the 15s. RF is not known for great subs. Fi subs are built to be abused. It'd be funny too show up at the shop with your BTLs and blow his head off. But if it's price you're wanting to keep down, AQ HDC3s with Aluminum coils would love those RF 2500s. AQ has awesome subs and quality and for the price CAN NOT BE BEATEN.
