jizazz12
coming to the end of my rebuild, going to be needing some new batteries and i'm leaning two xs. my problem is i'm not sure what batteries i should be looking at. i will be running 3500 rms. i have a 300 amp iraggi alt and was thinking about using two of the 5100's one up front as a starter battery and one in the trunk. will this be enough or should i be looking at other batteries? also where do i get pricing? chewie
i would do a 3100 up front and a 2700 out back. melonhead
Check out this chart. http://www.4xspower.com/downloadables/xspower_flyer-left.jpg According to it, you can get 2000 watts out of a 5100 as your primary battery and then another 3000 watts out of the 2nd battery. So that would be plenty.
JZeFF
I would think running a d6500 in the front and a d3400 in the back would be plenty... but i could be wrong.. Nathan @ XSpower
The 2 D5100s should be fine. Is this going to mainly be a daily driver or a competition application? What are your voltage expectations?
jizazz12
this is my daily, i would like to stay up around 13.8 or so. i have a crescendo audio 3k and specs are done at 14.4 so i would like to be as close to that as possible.
