Should i keep my mtx 9500 15" or go to DC???

those mtx subs are very underrated. at 1k its just waking up. i know this cause i used to be sponsored by mtx. not trying to push mtx but since you have it... just makes sense. can always swap the sub out later. yah know?

oh and the box is built well by mtx but imo its a well built piece of shit.

So what would you suggest?To maybe build a bigger box with a better port,etc....

look.. here is what i get out of this..

the guy got the mtx.. now he wants something new.. cause im sure if anything happened to that mtx the warrenty is long gone. and now you have a nice paperweight sitting around.

i suggest instead of pushing it to its limits.. sell the thing.. get a new sub.. and move on

at least if it was a high grade woofer he wouldnt have to worry about blowing it because it could be reconed fairly easily.

i suggest you sell it and go for that XL and get yourself a 2200d from audioque.. you think its loud now.. JUST WAIT !!

1000 watts at 38hz 145.1spl with 8 10" pioneer walmart subs. did this at a comp.

i did a 145.4 @ 40 with a single 15 in a blazer..

with all that cone area i think you coulda done alot better.. i was epecting close to a 150 number.

that was only 1000 watts, to 8 subs that are probably rated about 400 rms a peice. im not trying to be a mtx fanboy or w/e but i had 2 12" mtx 9500s and they got pretty damn loud for only running 1000 watts to them.
