mxman38 Posted April 25, 2010 Report Posted April 25, 2010 So i have only had my new set up for a couple months, the 4 sd2.5 15's walled off a massive p3000, and im feeling the urge to upgrade again. Im impressed with how loud it is over the 2 hdc318's but i really want to get another massive 3000 or audiopipe 3000 and swap to the hdc3 15's in hopes to get louder. So essentially i would be adding another 3kwrms and going back to hdc's because they will handle the power i dont care about electrical right now.... im sure i will start to see dipping into the low 12's and maybe 11's, but im almost positive i will be okay with the 250amp h/o alt, hc2400/2000/800/ and deka under the hood. My question is can i mix amps(even tho they are the same circuit board basically) or is that ghetto? I am fully aware my wall is a shared chamber with 2 subs on one side, port in middle, and 2 on the other side but i figured maybe 2 bassknobs would be lame or cause cancellation, i don't know for certain. the last option is to just get another massive amp and strap them(i don't know how or where to buy the cable for that tho) maybe its not worth the $1400 in hopes to be louder, my wall is definitely solid and can support it, but i would love some input before i bite the bullet and order the new amp/subs. heres a pic of how it sits currently

That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.

So i guess im just gna tryn match the gains and somehow do a Y splitter for the headphonejack style Bass knob. I see alotta people running over 4kwrms and have multiple runs of 0 gauge back to the rear, so im going to do 1 more run if it will even fit through my grommet
