Beanz
you can also run 1 amp per coil. No strapping involved. It will work fine this way. Some amps have a slave/master where gains will automatically be matched. If your amps do not, then you have to use a meter and set them as close as possible to eachother. But, the easiest, cheapest, and most reliable thing to do is to get a single 2000-2500w @ 1ohm amp and a dual 2ohm coil woofer. There you go thats what im saying That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do. magusmarcus
Maxx-link is a gadget that links 2 un-linkable amps... I haven't used it yet but seen systems with maxx-link... Haven't tried 1 amp, 1 coil setup but in case your up for it... You may want to check the Voltage each amp is putting out with a volt tester before running them. mhart
1 amp per coil is what we had to do back in the day, just try to match it all up. JZeFF
Since the amps are strappable... should i strap the amps and run sub at 2 ohms? Or should i just run 1 amp per coil at 1 ohm per coil? What should give me better results? Then all your controls (gain, HPF/LPF, etc) come from one amp, and there's no need to worry about matching the gains perfectly. But technically both ways will work just as well. 2001 Chevy Blazer (2) SAZ-3000Ds (2) custom 18" Madmax subs in a second row wall Rockford 600-4 Pioneer PRS components Pioneer P800PRS deck
