bdog Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 2006 f350 harley ed crew cab alpine iwa 205 nakimichi pa-304 hertz energy 5x7 x4 audison lrx1.1k 2 pioneer 12" ib flat 0.7 cf enclosure each clarion mcd 360 crossover with bass boost my bass sounds wacked all the gains/ lvls have to be turned up to get any bass i think its cuz my lrx needs a 5v input and my deck is a 2v i was thinking of getting somthing from audio control to boost my line lvl but wanted to make sure this was my best option. and ideas??? would sure help thx REP

The RF processor is called the 3Sixty.) Just because the amp CAN take 5v doesn't mean it needs it. With the gain maxed out most modern amps will be driven to clipping with an input voltage of around 0.2vrms I would look at your RCAs first. I was having issues with one of my sub amps and when I went over the system with a scope I found the amp was only being fed ~0.2v which was why I had to max out the gain on it. 10.x volts fo' life!
