Yea i work like 2 miles from there, at Mickey Shorr lower tuning is just hard. LilTeddyP Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 4 screws through the floor of the amp rack, and then the JBL 4 channel has a deep mounting point to the long ass screws we has to use to mount that went through to the floor of the truck as well, so 8 screws total to the floor for the amp rack, the l brackets on the baffle to the frame of the amp rack, and 2 4x4 and a 4x8 squares of mdf with 16 screws total in the back ( a bit overkill) into the back of the box and the frame of the amp rack. The BD "CP" amps push a LOT of power even @ LOW Hz so there little beasts. RF is gonna check out my amps and than send them back with a FREE PEQX3. I think just to be careful and since I don't have a O-Scope im just gonna stay @ 4 ohms, Besides that will give my alt a break too . The 1500-1 BD CP is pretty efficient @ 4 ohms anyways . lower tuning is just hard.
