tristan560
i thought reducers bottlenecked the current when its reduced to 4 gauge No definitely not. 99 Jimmy SLT 4WD Systemless. 99 Grand Prix GTP DC XL 12 on 1.5k tuned lowwwwww. CJ18
Using the reducers wont hurt anything.....if anything it will be alot easier and cleaner then cutting away wire and trying to jam 0ga into a 4 ga hole
Flint_810
It has 200 amps of fusing 200 * 14 = 2800 75% efficiency (just a guess) 2800 * .75 = 2100 So IMO with a good electrical, that's what you could see. I haven't had first hand experience, though. that would be if i have the gain turned up half way to see atlease 2000 watts [color="#2E8B57"]size="4"]1998 buick century stock elcetrical for now pioneer 3100 avh dvd HU (12)power acoustik tweeters (1) PA BAMF 5500 (1) FI 15" BTL HEAVY SUB!!! Flint_810
Dont trim it down just get yourself some 0 to 4 ga reducers and it will fit fine......I had 4 of these amps and would guesstimate that they put out about 2k but possible up to 2500 with good electrical......not a terrible amp for the price. thanks man i'd appreciate the info. where can i find o to 4 awg reducers at? and where you do reccommend setting the gain at if im running 1 fi btl 15" [color="#2E8B57"]size="4"]1998 buick century stock elcetrical for now pioneer 3100 avh dvd HU (12)power acoustik tweeters (1) PA BAMF 5500 (1) FI 15" BTL HEAVY SUB!!! CJ18
are you planning on running the amp at 1 or 2 ohms.....the output at 1 ohm is rated at 3200w and 2500 at 2 ohm?

cwill5
I HAVE A GUY RUNNING TWO OF THESE ONE PER DD 3512. HIS VOLTAGE FLOATS AROUND 14.3 AND @ FULL TILT IT DROPS IN THE 13.6 TO 13.8 AREA. THESE WILL DO NO WHERE NEAR THE 3200RMS @ 1. HOWEVER, IF YOU DO THE NECESSARY ELECTRICAL UPGRADES; HO ALT AND SECONDARY BATT TO GET YOUR VOLTAGE IN THE 14+ AREA YOU SHOULD SEE 2200 TO 2500 OUT OF THESE. RUN 4 GUAGE TO BOTH OF THE POWER AND GROUND INPUTS. THEY ARE ANGLED SO IT WOULD BE HARD TO FIT 0AWG. IF YOU ARE RUNNING MULTIPLE BATTS THEN RUN 0AWG TO 4 GUAGE AT A 1 IN 2 OUT FUSE DIST. BLOCK.
