Powering my subs

How much power can I run my lvl4 12s with d1 lvl5 coils? I hear the xls handle around 2,000-2,500rms but I want a forsure answer for my subs before upgrading my amp

1500 rms is max i would go with the 4s with the lvl 5 coils... but im sure others will say otherwise

I got offered 1 15 xl and one xl motor and 15 soft parts, how hard would it be to switch my soft parts basket onto the xl motor? And to get a 15in basket and make them into lvl 4 15s?

I have a Level 3 w/ Level 4 soft parts and coils on a SAZ-1500D and its seeing just over 2k and its all good. Rusty under rates the subs to be safe. I wish I had a SAZ-2000d or a 2500D for mine. Just make sure you set the gains with a D.M.M. and clap it so you know your actual output of the amp so you don't have any clipping. That will kill any sub quick. If you have any questions just ask Rusty, he should be the one to let you know if you are safe or if you might have a problem.

Alright thanks man, someone emailed me and said they have the same subs set up I do and they had talked to

rusty and rusty said 3,000rms per sub. I'm running a hifonics 2600 right now and Ita hella loud for the power and being in a trunk(gets louder it seems) I'm waiting to see if anyone can make me a h.o. Alt for my car before I get an amp. My friend used a d.m.m. Last time to set the amp. I got a email from someone on this site but said it was from the site...I'm on my phone and couldn't find a message on here from anyone?
