BanginOnABudget
As stated, this is a pure opinion thread, everyone has a right to voice their opinions. So which is better? and why? Domestic v.s. k3n12ock
Either based on the car. I currently have a domestic but would prefer an import that's made in America. white4d96
Personally I have liked the interiors of the imports I've ridden in more than domestics of the same approximate age; they seem to hold up better. I know on my brother's Integra everything is still in good shape, whereas my Grand Prix has rips, tears, and holes galore, not to mention broken pieces. Whether it's a quality issue or a use issue I couldn't tell. But between that and mileage, I would have to go Import. However, there's those days you just wanna hear a huge V8 with a rumpity cam in it. Long story short? I'm on the fence. Quote Too many projects, too little time... 00_XJ
I've had my share of both and have personally had better luck with domestics. I have a ford and chevy; both have over 180k miles on them and yet to have ANY problems with them engine wise. I have also noticed that there are a lot more old domestics on the road than imports. It's all about how you treat them though. If you do regular maintenance like you're supposed to and drive accordingly all cars should last you 15 years+ Quote 2000 Jeep Cherokee -DC Audio -Memphis -Audioque -SecondSkin -Pioneer -KnuKonceptz

superdave07
Ive owned both, im a Honda and air cooled VW guy myself. My family builds street rods an muscle cars. Other side builds bikes both import and domestic. Really just depends on what your wanting out of your car.....Go fast i choose domestic because its a lot cheaper. As far as building a show car import takes it for me, cheaper to build...Im into sport bikes over cruisers so i lean on import for that, but you can build anything and make it your own.
