bassHZ Posted May 17, 2010 Report Posted May 17, 2010 is there some kind of calculator like torre's or software for t-line box's like to calculate the tuning
CheezyMane13 Posted May 17, 2010 Report Posted May 17, 2010 The tuning of a T-Line will be the Fs of the sub. To figure length of the line, divide the speed of sound by the Fs, then divide by 4. To figure the "port" area, that's just whatever the surface area of the sub is. Simple as that.. Exactly, just make sure when you do the math, you redo it a few times, to make sure everything is right, cause one bad measurement will equal a bad t-line, even a measurement off as much of a 1/4" will be bad. take baby steps, u cant do it all at once unless u have a roll of 100's big enough to choke a donkey 1998 Chevy Venture "Swagger Wagon" Kenwood Excelon KDC-X994 Headunit 3 15" Alpine Type R's in seperate T-Lines 1 RF T1500-1bd for 2 of the 15s 1 RF P1000-1bd for the single 15 3 sets of Hifonics Zeus ZXi6.5C Components( 1 more set to come for Front stage) 1 Hifonics HFi100.4 4-channel amp Stock alt for now (DC HO SPL 400A when funds come in,currently working on buying this) Stock battery and one Optima Redtop for now (looking at XS batteries) 3 15" Alpine Type R's (aka Swagger Wagon Build 1.0) Swagger Wagon Build 2.0 Youtube Videos

Reallunacy Posted May 17, 2010 Report Posted May 17, 2010 Just email the company and ask for a full spec sheet for your model, plus any options.

CheezyMane13 Posted May 17, 2010 Report Posted May 17, 2010 Yup just did that lol. New build log will be coming soon Awesome looking forward to it, T-Lines aren't that hard to build, just usually very large, and I'm looking at building a 12" T-Line box. The ones I have for my 15"s are net volume of 10.6 cubic feet. Roughly 9 inside take baby steps, u cant do it all at once unless u have a roll of 100's big enough to choke a donkey 1998 Chevy Venture "Swagger Wagon" Kenwood Excelon KDC-X994 Headunit 3 15" Alpine Type R's in seperate T-Lines 1 RF T1500-1bd for 2 of the 15s 1 RF P1000-1bd for the single 15 3 sets of Hifonics Zeus ZXi6.5C Components( 1 more set to come for Front stage) 1 Hifonics HFi100.4 4-channel amp Stock alt for now (DC HO SPL 400A when funds come in,currently working on buying this) Stock battery and one Optima Redtop for now (looking at XS batteries) 3 15" Alpine Type R's (aka Swagger Wagon Build 1.0) Swagger Wagon Build 2.0 Youtube Videos
