zayres29 Posted May 21, 2010 Report Posted May 21, 2010 i have 2 AQ hdc3 18s my box is around 13 cubes tuned around 37hz and im having trouble keeping my screws in does anyone else have this problem did i do something wrong tomorrow i plan on putting some liquid nails on them but i was just wondering if i did something wrong for them to be doing that thanks Btw that was the first person. teamace24 Posted May 21, 2010 Report Posted May 21, 2010 So your screws come loose after a lot of pounding, or when you tighten them do they not stay tight? corona_jeff Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 the screws holding the subs came out or the ones holding the box together did? Dustin had that problem with his woofers ... had to get screws with bigger heads. EDIT: you can still split the wood even if you pre=drill
