Juice0723
Their is going to be a sound comp in my city on June 12th. They have a meter. But they want to use two of their random songs they pick for spl and sq. It's understandable for the sq part of the sound off. But the same song for the spl part? I want to use tones. They are just going to pick music. Which if the song has a 30hz bass line. If I'm tuned to 40hz and play it, my subsonic filter would just cut it out. One guy said "Thats not how it works at a normal sound off. Everyone uses the same track. That's how it's been at every other sound-off I have attended. this isn't my first." What should I say? BCarter
depends on the classes and the organization doing the show..i have been to some that you could play whatever as long as the disk wasn't a burnt copy Eye Kandy Kustomz 2414 E. HHR Ed
Personally, I wouldnt go. I stick to sanctioned events such as dB Drag Racing, NSPL, IASCA, etc.... But if that all you have up there. show them the rules from these organizations that say you can use tones and pick your own song. Juice0723
could you give me links please? You probably know most of them. yeah that's my point exactly about the tuning. But these guys running it are noobs and just told me the song will have lots of low bass on it. They won't let us know what songs are picked. I told them I could supply a official USACi CD. Then another guy said: "chances are that it will be a disk from the judge not a competitor.just like all other comps" But there is no one up here that knows anything about car audio. They think JL audio is the best and stuff. So if I know my setup is louder then the other guys. But I lose because of my subsonic filter wtf.
