Entent Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 Hey, Im building a new system and im stuck on what to buy i have a 550-600 dollar budget and im stuck between 2 sets of amp sub combo im currently looking at these 2 combos im basicly looking for the best daily SPL system i can get for around 550-600 bucks wondering what one of these would be the best or other options to thanks First Option Click Second option Click Subs: 2 Dual 4 DC lvl 3 12's in ported box 34hz tune wired to 1 ohm Hu: Eclipse 5425 Amp: Soundstream pcx1500d
pontyg6 Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 are these the only options you are interested in? if so i would go with the kicker setup mainly because that amp is way better but if your open to anything look into something like an aq1200 amp i believe its 250 shipped and also aq street duty subs that would deff be nicer than the other two setups also somethin like dc level 3 subs 2006 Pontiac G6 Audioque 2200 2 10" DC Level 3s 142.5db legal

I ask because if you go AQ, you can the Fifteens for like only 20 bucks more than the twelves go for. Also the AQ will be better than those options since for 1 those kickers are L5 and not L7 so they will not take as much power for a long time like aq will. Also the second option the subs are pretty good but the amp is not that reliable.
