Bobby32
Well I've got 2 Daytonas in 3 cubes on 2k+. They are supposed to be in 2.5 cubes each. Would it be louder to run just one in a smaller box on .5 ohm than 2 in 3 cubes on 1 ohm?
kirill007
>< Facepalm... If they are supposed to be in 2.5 cubes, then put 1 of them in 2.5cubes and don't overpower it if u don't want it to blow. Running a amp at 0.5ohm requires lot of current, and the subwoofer maybe couldn't handle it. No point in putting a subwoofer in almost half of it's recommended airspace instead of using just 1 with the right amount of power. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
Bobby32
I don't think blowing the sub is that easy but ill keep it easy at first.
TLEJ
In the wrong enclosure, you'll overwhelm it

mr1mrwun
if your trying to go loud, put your daytonas in a box with the proper airspace and feed em accordingly. too much power and not enough air space WILL eventually mess up your subs. Not Ideal for a daily setup.
