Ok I was discussing with a friend what would be best for a trunk car box wise. He says rear facing sealed box. I said forward facing ported box sealed off from trunk ( backseat /subbox/trunk) box sealing the space connecting. Which of those is better and would any other box design beat those?

If it's sealed off, you shouldn't need any deadener in the trunk.

BTW, removing the back seats is more fun :peepwall:

Also just because you seal them off facing forward doesnt mean you still cant use the back seats if you need them.

exactly my box is about 3-6 inches from the seats altogether and itll be sealed off from the trunk.

Fusion With A Stetsom 4k2d on 2 DC XL 15s tuned to 31hz and Subs and ports forward
