Well tonight I felt a little bored and decided to try my hand at making a subwoofer enclosure in CAD. This time I think I got it down right.

http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp This is the site I used to get port and other measurements.

Here's a pic of the box. I don't really know how to save the drawing itself as an image so I took a screenshot of it. The specs of it are. 15x15x18 (WxDxH) with 3/4" (whatever to use to build boxes... lol) With an interior volume of around 1.74 CF. The port size is 3 inches tuned to 32 Hz and just about 8 and a half inches long.

Let me know what you think.

they use medium density fiberboard (mdf) to build boxes, you can get it at home depot lol

looks alright to me, what kind of subs are you putting into it?

Um, I haven't really decided yet. I'm probably going to use Pioneer Premiers or IF I can afford it than seom FI BLT 12"s.

I'd try to keep the ports away from the corner of the enclosure.

Here's a Wicked One I drew in AutoCad 2004..

I've seen that box before...

Its a dual front loaded horn. But that's already been built. I'm not sure if youre trying to pawn that off as your own or what, but thats lame.

A couple links to some box builds:

Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI,

Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150

My own car builds (current setup --- under construction):

Overall Thread, Kickpods, Dash, Back Doors

Subwoofer Wall
