re-enforcing the box could use some input

Recommended Posts

Alright so i have a great feeling the box needs re-enforced now lol. With the weight of the 15"s and i can see the box flex up and down when the bass hits im just trying to get the best ways to do this all. i was thinking Doing some MDF polls and screwing them in around the subs so it stops the flex and then glassing all my corners to make sure that dont fall apart too . id like to make a new box with ed but since hes doing that damn hummer and i need it done by the 20th for the pulse show ima take it into my hands any input guys?

You can use wooden dowels or all thread which will use far less airspace.

well the box has two layers of MDF already and i feel like the second layer is falling apart on the top where my subs are because it sounds like slapping wood. but i was thinking doing two dimanonds around the subs so ill used 7 mdf rods and then glass all the corners and see if that does it just for the pulse car show

all thread = win. takes up like no space and offers a shitton of strength. brace all 3 axis. up and down, left to right, and front to back. hell brace the port too left and right if it flex's a bit lol.
