I know you are lower than a 3/5.5....what did you have to do to accommodate for those big tires? thank you! rolling the fenders is your best friend on top of the fact that these 26's have an amazing offset. they actually tuck compared to my 24's even though they are wider tires noph33rracing has the same belltech drop as me on 24's and I was lower than him also if you are going to go that low you need helper bags otherwise your suspension in the rear will just be too bouncy and eat up the tires! anybody with a Tahoe, Yukon, Suburban need a template for their iPad install? hit me up Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

thehoe92 Posted March 24, 2011 Author Report Share Posted March 24, 2011 its coming out pretty sick. hmmm, an ipod template would cut some time off the build... just let me know if you want one they aren't very hard for me to make just spent the last two days going through and reading your previous build log and this one..and all i can say is that i love the tahoe so sick! one question tho when you sold the subs and deck did you sell the eq too? damn!! props dude haha that is a lot of reading! the EQ is gone as well only thing I have is a Sundown 125.2, RF Power and Punch 6.5 components and Pioneer 6.5 coaxials Updates? finished the second iPad install kind of.. its not the way I wanted it to turn out...again... so I will be doing a third iPad install I have done it enough times now to where I know exactly how I want it to be done and I know what can go wrong and how to make it better so it doesn't go wrong this one will not have any form of slot but it will be removable when I take the bezel off my plan is to make a frame around the iPad out of some type of wood make the shell for the iPad and fiberglass that to the frame then on each corner of the frame put one of those neo magnets that Steve uses all the time then make the face plate but this time instead of bondoing it to the bezel I will fiberglass it then bondo over it on the backside in each corner put more magnets so overall the shell will be attached by magnets and will be removable as for those of you that are asking about the A/C controls for right now they are plugged in behind the iPad set to what I like down the road I will extend it underneath my cup holders Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
