thehoe92 Posted August 13, 2010 Author Report Posted August 13, 2010 anybody want to help me design a box? the subs like 2.5 cubes a piece so 15 total if I do 49" wide by 40" deep by 20" tall with 2" thick I get 15 cubes exactly so take away port displacement and subs and I'll be left with 13ish cubes.. that would be about right since I'm putting a little more power than RMS on them right? I just want a slot port at the bottom so I can have it shoot off the back hatch I want to be able to play lows but I don't want that to be the only thing, just as long as the lows aren't something you feel I want to be able to hear them too so if anyone could help me out that would be great Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
C-Fizzy Posted August 13, 2010 Report Posted August 13, 2010 i wanna hear this shit too kasey. LOL at P's comment about underage buttocks. under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy?
mr.p Posted August 13, 2010 Report Posted August 13, 2010 if you want the lows to be boomy and low you need more than 2.5 cubic feet a woofer ported. Get my old 4 15's box it is the exact opposite but see how they will do in it. 2.2 cubes a sub 17sq per cube 27hz tuning. I dont think they will have enough motor to move around tuning, but they will scream at around 35+hz also why port back? why not port up? DCAUDIO BALLS DEEP

I'm trying to remember all the stuff I've learned when I built my first box and even then I got lucky with it Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
mr.p Posted August 14, 2010 Report Posted August 14, 2010 lol honestly....your woofers suck so why not just build a 4th order 6 15s c pillar wall? build the 6 15's with 1.75 sealed and just build a top chamber over the box with the front open. Rent a TL from someone for a week and just build in and deep with 2x4's until you have the peak frequency you are looking for. Later on throw in some decent subs (level 4's) and it will fix any reliability problems with the t3's DCAUDIO BALLS DEEP
mr.p Posted August 14, 2010 Report Posted August 14, 2010 oh and if you answered the phone at 10pm youd have an idea to work with DCAUDIO BALLS DEEP
