Baydestrian
Alright, well I got my Kenwood KDC-X592 in my Caddy right now...a year ago when I had it in my Caprice I had a problem with the sound from the speakers getting distorted and the volume lowering from them at the same time when I went up past 26 (out of 35). Now I have it in my Caddy and it hasn't done this, until today, only thing I remember thats similar to when it happened was that it was hot outside. Today was about 80-90 degrees when going to work, went up to 27 on my deck and it started getting distorted and low volume so I turned it down then back up and it was fine as long as I didn't go up past 26. HU isn't even that old...probably gonna get a new one when I get a new car anyways but should I just chalk it up to hot weather causing my deck to overheat? Bass still plays fine while this happens 2015 Mazda 6 JVF Customz 4.0 Proto 15>Wolfram W4500 @ .5ohm 2 Sundown Neo 6.5 + 2 CT Meso Tweeters (Front) x Kicker KS6.5 (Rear)>JL Audio VX400/4i NSB-AMG35 (front) / 40ah Lithium Headway (Rear) built by Erni Audio & Electrical

skittlesRgood
try it again at night when it cools down. just a quick test every hot day and cool night should tell you pretty quick if its definitely the heat. If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.
