steven
Yeah once again these people will tell you to go crazy and max the hell out everything which is nice, but not economically smart. For 1500 rms, don't even bother with anything. For 3000 Rms, just a 150A+ alt and a battery with solid aH (100 +) Ya you will need 4 400 amp alts 20 cactus cs9000 batteries and at least 89 runs of 0 gauge wire. ha ha Jk... maybe a 180 amp alt with a good beefy battery just because your going to end up upgrading in the future might as well go big now
P4killer_
Its pretty cut and dry. 1500w you will just need another battery in the back. Like a kinetik 1400 or similar would be perfect. No big 3 even. Although you should do it you don't have to. For 3k you will need the big 3 . You will need two bigger bats kinetik 2400 or similar. And in order to prevent huge voltage drop you will def need a h.o alt You can trade a less powerful alt for more bats Or a more power alt and less bats To a point that is. More than one extra bat on. Your stock alt is not a. Good idea. Each bat takes 10 a to charge so with a 90a. Alt you don't have too much extra to use. Unless you go crazy that alt can brace some badass systems. Edited June 15, 2010 by AssKicker
