redbaron80 Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 Opening this amp out of the box I knew it was going to be a beast. The amp comes in at just over 25 inches long as is very heavy. After installing the single SAZ 4500 @ 1ohm ohm to my Two Ascendant Audio Mayham 18's I fired it up and the subs came alive. The sound was fantastic, and the EQ on this amp definately will allow you to fine tune your music preference, no problem. Amp was plenty powerful and it seems to do it's rated power if not more than 4500s watts. The bass knob is made of metal, not plastic. The amp never got hot during testing, never shut off, or had any problems what so ever. The amp is exactly what you pay for. Good, reliable, clean, solid power. To give a fair comparison I will list some of the results on the TL I have gotten from different power combinations. All amps were powered with Four Kinetic 2400s and a 320 alt. 151.0 - Two Diablo 2500s 151.2 - One Sundown 4500 153.2 - One Sound Digital 8K 153.8 - One Sound Digital 12K Official Scores at the Dash. and YES.
