nitro229
Alright once u first get in my car it drives perfectly but after about ten mins ( citydriving) when I turn it makes this loud humming noise an I can feel it in the steering wheel. My power steering fluid is too full, like it says to not overfill an whoever did last oil change over filled it. But I doubt that's the problem. It's proably the power steering pump right? Sorry for long post an thanks for all replys

Sorry for long post an thanks for all replys Is it vibrating really bad or just slightly? Idk if there would be a difference, but my mom's santefe was shaking real bad even when driving straight and it was because of the pump. Her belt also started squeeling bad too. I'd imagine that it's something with your belt, or bad pump, could also be the fluid it has a full line for a reason. I know nothing about stuff like this so don't take my word Edited June 15, 2010 by vengfuldev Quote Start out boxy, shape as you move along. nitro229
It doesn't do it when I go straight an on slight turns just sharp turns, not because of speed it just always does it. An it's more if a loud humm than vibrate
rubbernutz1
sounds like its either your power steering pump or rack and pinion is going out. idk wat kind of car you got but if its got rack and pinion steering id say the rack is going out

EricM9104
Did you use power steering fluid or ATF? EDIT: Get a turkey baster and drain it till it's at optimal level too... Too much or too little oil can lead to problems. speeddemon0308
its either your PS pump or your rack. had a car that we thought it was the pump.. put in a new pump but it was bad so put in another and it was OK for a little then ti came back.. so we did the rack and it was good after that. EricM9104
That'll happen when you use actual power steering fluid in a Ford power steering pump.
